RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS by which all members agree to be bound
- 1) No BRAIDED lines ( 30” hook-length OK ) No Barbed or “Bent” hooks . No litter whatsoever . No Nut baits. No fixed leads,
- 2) NIGHT FISHING is ONLY ALLOWED after signing a separate undertaking, and requires permission on a per-instance basis.
- 3) Keep-nets may only be used with specific permission to do so . Landing nets to be min., 30” wide
- 4) Always take & use an unhooking mat you will need it .
- 6) Please dip your landing net in the disinfectant bib by the boathouse before fishing.
- 7) No fires, no radios, no litter whatsoever , ( incl., cigarette ends) Keep your tackle tidy or covered at all times
- 8) You MUST notify me ( BY PHONE 01952 432147 or TEXT - 0796 8928 678 .) when intending to fish at the lake
- 9) I will inform you of any relevant information that may affect your trip by return & before you set out !
- 10) CARP SACKS are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN upon this property & viewed as going equipped for theft YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
- 11) Please DO NOT fish in an adjacent peg to any angler who is already fishing - without their permission
- 12) Max., three rods - or as EA Rules - 1 bite-alarmed for Carp in adjacent peg OK, but only if you are only angler present on lake .
- 13) Members to attend minimum of 4 half day working parties per year for conservation purposes please.
- 14) No breaking down of any vegetation please. No tins in sight at lakeside.
- 15) It is mandatory that anglers wear Green / Brown / Black clothing. Please observe !
- 16) Sorry - no commercial vehicles of ANY KIND allowed on the car-park or in the paddocks ! Do not park in the paddock !
- 17) IF SEE LITTER (including cigarette ends): firstly PLEASE PICK IT UP, secondly CALL ME & COMPLAIN .
- 18) New Members & my own Occasional Guests please show Established Members every courtesy - this will benefit you in years to come
- 19) Fishing at the lake without express permission is classed as TRESPASS & possibly THEFT but all members need do is follow the tried & tested instruction below :
- Just TEXT ME to say when you are going. Having done so you have full permission to be there from dawn to dusk on that day.
- 20) Please ask to see CURRENT PERMIT of anyone fishing and if in doubt call me or the police on 01952 290888 if doubt arises
- 21) The Common Law of England & Wales shall apply to any matter not covered in specific terms by this agreement.
- PLEASE NOTE
- First & Foremost - it is essential that every possible measure is taken to ensure the continued well-being of the fishery
- Please co-operate should established members request a tackle inspection in the interest of fish-health
- “Two Strikes” rule applies . . . lets all be considerate of our fellow syndicate members
You MUST show YOUR PERMIT when asked to do so
