Below is a fairly exhaustive list of all fish specifically stocked into the lake whilst in the tenure of the current owner. The lake is stream-fed and it is believed that bream & rudd fry occasionally enter the lake from a small farm pond upstream. Although to no real negative effect - it does mean that occasional netting is required to maintain the correct balance of chosen specimen quarry. We are currently awaiting a fixed date for one such silver-fish control exercise - more news soon ! |
